I have become a big fan of Dr. Phil Klotzbach during this year's Bahamas Weather Conference. Dr. Phil Klotzbach (who actually prefers "Phil") is the guy taking over the famous "Hurricane Predictions" that Dr. Gray has done for years. Dr. Klotzbach has done some new research, which he plans to experiment with this hurricane season. Here's a short summary of his presentation this year on the Madden-Julian Oscillation
and it's use on hurricane forecasting...
We're flying home tomorrow. It's been an amazing time in Nassau, Bahamas and I hope to post some pictures at some point next week.
