Stormy Tuesday

Posted on 22:20 by Unknown
We know that it's going to rain today (Tuesday) and we know there will be thunder and lightning. There are still some questions on how strong the storms will be across the state. The above image is showing the instability according to the GFS model. Notice, the highest CAPE stays south, with CAPE nearing 500 in parts of Region 8. If this played out, we would see rain , but not much severe weather. Another model shows more instability. See:
Do you see the yellows moving more north? This would yield some stronger storms. I would write more, but I'm tired and I'm falling asleep.

We're going to watch the closely, but in the meantime. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
